Gevrey-Chambertin is a major appellation of the Côte de Nuits, both in size and prestige. Les Evocelles is a terroir in the far north of the appellation, at the very top of the hillside. A high-altitude wine, its east-facing exposure and terraced location give this great Burgundy tension and complexity.
