Gevrey-Chambertin is a major Côte de Nuits appellation, both in size and prestige. Les Evocelles is situated at the northernmost side of the appellation, at the height of the slope. The altitude and east-facing orientation of the plot brings tension and complexity to the wine. Slightly toasty nose with a fine mix of red fruits lingering on liquorice. Very well balanced structure, with finesse and minerality.
