Intense red robe with violine hues. Typical Pommard nose in this vintage context, with ripe red fruits, slightly woody and violet tones. The mouth amplitude and expressivity is positively surprising. There is depth for and richness for sure, but on a well balanced backbone of noble tannins and beautiful underlying acidities. A wine that might need to be waited for a little bit before it reveals all its complexity and full potential.
Beautiful beef t-bone steak, pan-fried foie gras with deglazed raspberries, veggie tajine or chop-suey noodles.
Several plots usually compose and bring complexity to the Pommard village wines from the Hospices estate.
