Tasting notes
The wine Les Vignesrondes displays a deep colour. It discloses intense, almost heady, notes of fruit dominated by dark berries including blackcurrant and blackberries. This wine softens out after a few years of bottle age and evolves towards more subtle fruity notes of wild cherry and sloe combined with discreet aromas of liquorice and fresh leather.
History
The soils: deep, gravelly brown limestone soils and fine fraction silty clay limestone.
