This great Burgundy wine develops fruity aromas of blackberry and strawberry on the nose, along with notes of sweet spices, tea, and cocoa. A fairly supple yet present tannic structure gives it a lingering finish. A delicious wine with a beautiful, serious undertone.

To be enjoyed with beef stew or mushroom risotto.

Les Fournières is a small plot of 0.4 ha, at the foot of the Corton hill, partly in a hillside location. Exposure: East/Southeast, on brown limestone soils on scree. Average age of the vines: 40 years. Manual harvest in small crates. Fermentation in temperature-controlled conical oak vats for around 20 days. Aging in 100% oak barrels (around 1/4 new oak)
