Collector wooden case: This magnum is sold in a superb wooden case engraved with the coats of arms of the Hospices and our house, individually and manually signed by Ludivine Griveau, winemaker of the Hospices de Beaune, and Albéric Bichot, president of our house.
History of the cuvée. It is traditional for the Hospices de Beaune wine auction to begin with the sale of this beautiful cuvée. It bears the name of the nuns who cared for the sick from the founding of the Hospices in 1443, some of whom even made significant bequests to the institution.
Tasting: Intense purple color. Floral and generous bouquet on the nose. Palate full of fruit (raspberry, blackberry), with notes of cocoa. Great fullness in this intense and concentrated 2026 vintage, nuanced by tannins that remain very refined and will be delicately polished by aging in our Albert Bichot cellars.
Gourmet pairings: casual appetizer, home-style cooking (shepherd's pie, BBQ grilled meat), nice cheese board.

During the Hospices de Beaune 2026 auction on November 15, we will select this wine on the basis of a maximum hammer price defined in advance.

The actual price of the cuvée will be communicated to you just after the auction, and we will of course do our utmost to buy this wine at the best possible price. In other words, you'll know the maximum price in advance, but it may go down!

Vintage 2026 wines (sold in November 2026) will be available and shipped in autumn 2028, after their careful aging in our Albert Bichot cellars.
