Lightly toasted nose with a beautiful combination of concentrated red fruits that evolve into notes of licorice. Balanced, fine and mineral structure but with a beautiful presence. Perfect balance that testifies to the nobility of the terroir.

To be enjoyed with a beautiful juicy rib steak, a duck terrine or a lovely cheese platter.

Gevrey-Chambertin is a major appellation of the Côte de Nuits, both in size and prestige. Les Evocelles is a terroir in the far north of the appellation, at the very top of the hillside. A high-altitude wine, its east-facing exposure and terraced location give this great Burgundy tension and complexity.
